How to Apply?

  • NATS Portal Registration : Register on the apprenticeship portal (nats.education.gov.in) and ensure your profile is 100% complete to generate your unique enrollment ID before applying.

  • Document Preparation : Keep scanned copies of your recent photograph ($4.5\text{cm} \times 3.5\text{cm}$), signature in black ink, left thumb impression, and the prescribed handwritten declaration ready.

  • Bank Website Access : Visit the official Canara Bank website (www.canarabank.bank.in), navigate to Careers, then Recruitment, and select the link for engaging Graduate Apprentices for FY 2026-27.

  • New Registration : Click on "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION", enter your basic details, and note down the system-generated provisional registration number and password.

  • Application Form Filling : Log in using your credentials, fill out all required personal and academic details accurately, select your state preference, and provide your NATS enrollment ID.

  • Document Upload : Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the designated spaces following the specified size and dimension guidelines.

  • Fee Payment : Pay the non-refundable application/intimation charges of ₹500 (nil for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or Mobile Wallet.

  • Final Submission & Printout : Preview your application carefully using "SAVE AND NEXT" before clicking "COMPLETE REGISTRATION", and print/save copies of the final application form and e-receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Online Registration : Candidates must register on the NATS portal and then submit their online application through the Canara Bank website.

  • Merit List Preparation : State-wise merit lists are prepared in descending order based on marks or percentage obtained in the 12th Standard, HSC, 10+2, or Diploma examination, with a minimum qualifying requirement of 60% (55% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates). Age is used to resolve ties.

  • Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification to validate their eligibility and the information furnished in their online application.

  • Local Language Test : Candidates who have not studied the specified local language in their 10th or 12th standard mark sheets or certificates must qualify a local language test conducted during the document verification process.

  • Medical Fitness : Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit according to the requirements of the bank.
