Permitted to deduct temporary service duration (up to a maximum of 7 years) from their age, provided the resulting age does not exceed the upper age limit by more than 3 years (subject to specific continuity conditions).

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for - Inter-Caste Marriage Incentive Scheme

For upper-caste spouses of couples awarded under the Untouchability Offenses Act, 1984 incentive scheme, upper age relaxation is 5 years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for State/National Honor Recipients

Recipients of the Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, Gundadhur Samman, Maharaja Pravir Chandra Bhanjdev Award, and National Youth Award are given a relaxation of 5 years.

Upper age limit is relaxable up to 38 years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for Home Guards (Volunteers & Non-Commissioned Officers)

Relaxation equal to the period of service rendered in the Home Guard, subject to a maximum limit of 8 years, but in any case, their age must not exceed 38 years.

Note 1

After receiving relaxation under one or more of the categories above, the maximum age for entry into government service cannot exceed 45 years.

Note 2

Candidates who secure entry/selection under the government employee age concessions and subsequently resign from service prior to or after selection (excluding retrenched employees) will not be eligible for appointment.

Educational Qualification
General Educational Qualification Requirement To be eligible for any of the Lecturer posts, candidates must possess : A Postgraduate degree (Post Graduation / Equivalent) in the relevant subject from a recognized university/institution with at least a Second Class. A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree. Subject-Wise Postgraduate Qualification Requirements 1. Hindi Postgraduate degree in Hindi. 2. English Postgraduate degree in English. 3. Sanskrit Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit, Classics, or Acharya. 4. Physics (भौतिकी) Postgraduate degree in Physics, Electronics, Applied Physics, or Nuclear Physics. 5. Political Science (राजनीति विज्ञान) Postgraduate degree in Political Science or Public Administration. 6. History (इतिहास) Postgraduate degree in History or Ancient Indian History. 7. Geography (भूगोल) Postgraduate degree in Geography. 8. Economics (अर्थशास्त्र) Postgraduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, or Business Economics. Important Notes on Qualifications NCTE Guidelines : The educational qualifications for all the above posts will be recognized in accordance with the notifications issued from time to time by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the judgments passed by the Hon'ble Courts.
