Selection Process

• Scrutiny of Applications : Applications are scrutinized at the Directorate Urban Local Bodies level by a committee to shortlist candidates based on merits.

• Evaluation Criteria (Civil and Electrical) : Shortlisting and evaluation for Civil and Electrical posts are conducted based on the GATE Score of the last two years.

• Evaluation Criteria (Horticulture) : Evaluation for Horticulture is based on Part-A (academic qualifications, master's degree, and experience totaling 50 marks) where candidates must obtain at least 35 marks to be shortlisted.

• Written Examination : Shortlisted candidates undergo a written test (Part-B) carrying 50 marks, conducted through a reputed or government-controlled agency, and candidates must secure a minimum of 35 marks.

• Final Selection : The final cut-off engagement list is prepared based on candidates achieving a grand total of 70 marks and above (securing minimum 35 marks each in Part-A and Part-B), with preference given to PhD holders, master's degree holders, or bachelor's degree toppers.
