How to Apply?

• Step 1 : Sign Up - Register on the HPRCA portal by clicking the "Sign Up" option to create a username and password.

• Step 2 : One-Time Registration - Complete the One-Time Registration by providing personal information, educational qualifications, work experience, uploading a recent photograph and signature, and submitting relevant supporting documents.

• Step 3 : Complete/Update Profile - Review and update your profile details if necessary before proceeding to apply for any posts.

• Step 4 : Apply for a Post - View the available posts on the HPRCA portal ([https://hprca.hp.gov.in](https://hprca.hp.gov.in)) and click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the Assistant Staff Nurse position.

• Step 5 : Preferred Exam District - Select your preferred district(s) for the examination from the dropdown menu.

• Step 6 : Confirm Application Details - Review the application form, which is automatically populated using your profile information, before proceeding.

• Step 7 : Pay Application Fee - Make the required fee payment of ₹800 (₹100 examination fee plus ₹700 processing fee) through the online payment gateway using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

• Step 8 : Application Submission Confirmation - Submit your application successfully after the payment is completed.

Selection Process

• Online Application Submission : Candidates must submit their Online Recruitment Application (ORA) through the official HPRCA website within the stipulated dates.

• Computer Based or Written Screening Test : Selection involves a 120-mark objective type test consisting of multiple-choice questions covering core qualifications, general knowledge, current affairs, and basic sciences.

• Normalization of Scores : Scores from multiple-shift Computer Based Tests (CBT) are normalized using the Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method) to ensure fairness.

• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates are required to produce downloaded application forms along with necessary original certificates and self-attested photocopies.

• Final Merit and Allocation : Final selections and department/district allocations are carried out based on merit, candidate preferences, and the availability of posts.
