Selection Process

  • Application Screening : Applications received within the stipulated period are reviewed and screened by a duly constituted Screening Committee.

  • Trade Test : Candidates recommended or shortlisted by the Screening Committee are invited to appear for a Trade Test, which is qualifying in nature.

  • Competitive Written Examination : Individuals who successfully qualify in the Trade Test are invited to take the competitive written examination, which consists of Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.

  • Minimum Threshold Marks : Candidates must achieve the minimum threshold marks fixed by the Selection Committee for both the Trade Test and the respective written examination papers.

  • Paper-II & Paper-III Evaluation : Paper-II and Paper-III are evaluated exclusively for candidates who secure the required minimum threshold marks in Paper-I.

  • Final Merit List : The final merit list is prepared strictly based on the marks obtained by candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III.
