• Graduate Engineer : B.E / B.Tech in Chemical / Civil / CS & IT / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Mechanical or Related Engineering Field.

• Officer (Marketing) : Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (equivalent to MBA as per AIU) with specialization in Marketing Management with (60% Marks, SC/ ST/ PH : 55% Marks).

• Officer (Law) : Graduate Degree in any discipline and Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) OR 5 years Integrated LLB Degree, 02 Years Experience.

• Assistant Quality Control Officer : Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry with (60% Marks, SC / ST / PH : 55% Marks), 02 Years Experience.

• Diploma Engineer : Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Safety or Related Engineering Field.

How to Apply?

• Document Readiness : Scan your passport-size photograph, signature in black ink, and left thumb impression prior to starting.

• Website Access : Go to the official IndianOil website at [www.iocl.com](https://www.iocl.com) and navigate to the "Latest Job Opening" page under "IndianOil for Careers".

• New Registration : Click on "APPLY ONLINE," select "Click here for New Registration," and enter your basic contact details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.

• Form Completion : Fill out the online application form carefully using the "SAVE AND NEXT" tab to verify data before final submission.

• Image Upload: Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression, and capture your live photo through the portal's system camera feature.

• Application Fee Payment : Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000 plus applicable GST online via debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, or mobile wallets (SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted).

• Final Submission & Printing : Preview the complete form, click "COMPLETE REGISTRATION," and save a PDF copy of the system-generated application form for your future reference.

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) : A 150-minute objective online examination consisting of Section A (General Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability) and Section B (Domain Knowledge) carrying a total of 100 marks.

• Shortlisting Process : Shortlisting of candidates for subsequent stages is performed by ranking eligible candidates based on their descending order of CBT marks, subject to meeting category-wise sectional and overall minimum qualifying percentage criteria.

• Document Readiness & Verification : Shortlisted candidates must verify their eligibility by producing all required original documents in prescribed formats (with digital options via DigiLocker) prior to participating in further selection rounds.

• Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT) : Interactive multi-candidate evaluation components carrying a 5% weightage in the final merit calculation with a minimum qualifying pass mark of 40%.

• Personal Interview (PI) : A structured final interview stage carrying a 10% weightage in the overall composite score, requiring a minimum pass mark of 40% to successfully clear.

• Merit List & Composite Score : Final empanelment is determined through a consolidated weighted score comprising 85% weightage from the CBT, 5% from GD/GT, and 10% from the Personal Interview, alongside category-specific minimum aggregate thresholds.
