How to Apply?

• Step 1 : Sign Up - Register on the HPRCA portal by clicking the "Sign Up" option to create a username and password.

• Step 2 : One-Time Registration - Complete your profile by providing personal information, educational qualifications, work experience, uploading a recent photograph and signature, and uploading relevant supporting documents.

• Step 3 : Complete/Update Profile - Review and make any required updates to your profile details before proceeding to apply for posts.

• Step 4 : Apply for a Post - View the list of available posts on the HPRCA portal (https://hprca.hp.gov.in) and click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the desired post.

• Step 5 : Preferred Exam District - Select your preferred district(s) for the examination from the dropdown menu.

• Step 6 : Confirm Application Details - Review the automatically filled application form details from your profile before proceeding.

• Step 7 : Pay Application Fee - Proceed to make the application fee payment through the available online payment gateway options.

• Step 8 : Application Submission Confirmation - Complete the process as your application will be considered successfully submitted after payment.
  

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test / Written Screening Test : A 120-marks objective type screening test of 1.5 hours duration comprising multiple-choice questions from relevant subjects, general knowledge, current affairs, and basic competencies.

• Typing Skill Test : A qualifying typing test on a computer requiring a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi for shortlisted candidates.

• Document Verification : Verification of original certificates, educational qualifications, and category documents to finalize the merit-based selection and department/district allocation.
