  • Applicant Authentication via PET - Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and authenticate your identity through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
  • Personal & Qualification Details Entry - Verify your pre-populated personal details, select the desired Senior Instructor Cadre post(s), enter your required educational qualification details, and input the verification code before clicking Submit to generate your 11-digit Registration Number.
  • Review Photo, Signature & Declaration - Check your pre-loaded photo and signature from PET-2025, proceed through the other details section, and accept the declaration by checking the boxes and entering the verification code.
  • Application Fee Payment - Pay the required online processing fee via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Chalan, ensuring successful transaction reconciliation so your application form is automatically submitted.
  • Print Application Form - Download and print a hard copy of the final submitted application form and keep it safe for future documentation checks and category verification.

Selection Process

  • PET-2025 QualificationPreliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 Participation : Candidates must have appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid score card with a non-zero or positive absolute/normalized score.
  • ShortlistingMerit-Based Shortlisting : Candidates are shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized PET-2025 scores, typically up to 15 times the number of vacancies per category.
  • Online ApplicationRegistration and Form Submission : Eligible candidates must submit their online applications via the official UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in) using their PET registration number and OTP verification.
  • Fee PaymentApplication Fee Deposition : Candidates must pay the prescribed online processing fee (₹25 for all categories) via credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI, or SBI e-challan and reconcile transactions by the deadline.
  • Written ExaminationMain Written Test : Shortlisted candidates must appear for a single objective-type written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, with a negative marking of 25% (0.25 marks) for incorrect answers.
  • Document VerificationDocument Scrutiny and Final Selection : Final selection is determined through the written examination performance followed by document verification and fulfillment of required educational and category qualifications.
