Notification Access : Open the recruitment notification titled "Click here for Vacancy Notice No. 32/2026" and thoroughly review the eligibility and age criteria. Candidate Registration : Register first by providing required details, which will generate an application number/login ID and password sent to your email and mobile number. Form Filling : Fill out the online application form with all personal details, age, and educational qualifications starting from 10 September, 2026. Document Uploading : Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size color photo (100KB–200KB), signature (80KB–150KB), and category/educational certificates (100KB–1000KB) in JPG/JPEG/PDF format. Form Review : Preview the application form carefully and edit any details if necessary, as it cannot be edited after final submission. Fee Payment : Submit the application form to automatically redirect to the payment gateway, pay the applicable non-refundable fee via credit/debit card or net banking, and download the payment acknowledgment.
Selection Process
Selection Methodology Overview : The selection process comprises a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a medical fitness test. CBT Question Format : The Computer Based Test contains 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with each correct answer awarded 01 mark and no negative marking. CBT Duration and Language : The examination duration is 90 minutes, and candidates can choose to appear for the CBT in either Hindi or English. CBT Syllabus: The detailed syllabus for the Computer Based Test is hosted separately on the NCRTC website. Qualifying Marks : The minimum qualifying percentage is 60% for UR, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories, and 50% for SC, ST, PwBD, and EXM categories, with further selection based strictly on merit. Test Center Preferences : Candidates must provide preferences for five (05) cities out of the available options (including Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Mumbai, Jaipur, etc.) while filling out the online application, which cannot be changed later. Medical Examination Standards : Candidates shortlisted after the CBT undergo a medical fitness test matching A-3 standards (for Post Codes D01 to D05) or B-1 standards (for Post Codes D06 to D09), which include strict visual and physical criteria where Lasik surgery is not permitted.
