Qualification & Experience

1. Generalist Officer (Branch Management) in Scale II

Selection Process

• Online Examination : An objective-type computer-based test comprising 100 questions for a total of 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours.

  • Generalist Officer Test Structure : English Language (25 questions/marks, 30 mins) and Professional Knowledge (75 questions/marks, 90 mins).

  • Specialist Officer Test Structure : English Language (25 questions/marks, 30 mins), General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry (25 questions/marks, 30 mins), and Professional Knowledge (50 questions/marks, 60 mins).

  • Marking Scheme : There is a negative marking of $1/4$th (0.25) of the assigned marks for every wrong answer. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the Professional Knowledge section (30% for reserved categories and 35% for unreserved categories).

• Shortlisting for Interview : Candidates who qualify in the Online Examination are shortlisted based on their scores to be called for a personal interview.

• Personal Interview : Carried out for a maximum of 100 marks, assessing candidates on role-related exposure in the industry, subject knowledge, and communication skills. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for unreserved candidates and 45% for reserved candidates.

• Final Merit List : Prepared by assigning an 80% weightage to the Online Examination and a 20% weightage to the Interview.
