Selection Process
Priliminary Examination : Conducted for screening purposes (generally omitted if applications are under 50,000) consisting of 120 objective questions covering General Studies, Jharkhand-specific knowledge, General Mathematics, General Science, and Mental Ability. Main Examination : Consists of three papers (Paper 1 : Language Knowledge, Paper 2 : Regional/Tribal Language Knowledge, and Paper 3 : General Knowledge) featuring objective-type questions with negative marking for incorrect answers. Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates based on the Main Examination merit list undergo a rigorous check of their original certificates and eligibility documents. Medical and Character Verification : Final selection and service appointment are subject to character and antecedent clearance as well as medical fitness under Jharkhand government norms.
