How to Apply?

• Online Application Website : Visit the official authorized website at www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in to access the online application form.  

• Registration & Bio-Data : Log on to the portal, carefully fill in your personal details and bio-data ensuring that your name, father's name, and date of birth exactly match your matriculation certificate.  

• Contact Information : Provide an active mobile number and a valid e-mail ID, keeping them active throughout the entire engagement process for all important communications via SMS or email.  

• Upload Photograph : Upload a soft copy of a passport-size colored photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, clear front view without cap and sunglasses, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, and file size between 20 kb to 70 kb) taken within the last three months.  

• Upload Signature : Upload a soft copy of your signature in JPG/JPEG format (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, 100 DPI, and file size between 20 kb to 30 kb).  

• Application Fee Payment : Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- online through the integrated payment gateway (SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from the fee).  

• Fee Payment Timing : Complete the fee payment through the provided link 2 days (two working days) after successfully filling out and submitting the initial form parts if required by the portal flow.  

• Application Printout : Take a clear printout of the successfully submitted online application form and retain it safely to produce at the time of Document Verification.  

Selection Process

• Merit List Preparation : Selection is based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI marks in the trade.  

• Tie-Breaking Criteria : If two candidates have identical marks, the candidate with older age is preferred, and if dates of birth are also the same, the one who passed matriculation earlier is considered first.  

• Final Trade-Wise List : A final merit list is prepared trade-wise and community-wise, matching the number of slots in descending order of the calculated percentage of marks.  

• Document Verification : Finally enlisted candidates are subject to verification of original testimonials and appropriate medical examination certificates signed by a Government authorized doctor (Gaz.) not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon
