How to Apply?

• Check Eligibility Criteria : Ensure you are an unmarried male born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 with a Matriculation/equivalent pass certificate.

• Download Application Form : Visit the official web portal at https://iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in and navigate to the 'Application Forms' sub-tab under the 'Agniveervayu Non-Combatant' section to download the blank application form and certificates.

• Fill Out the Application : Carefully complete the application form with accurate details as entries will be treated as final and unchangeable.

• Prepare Required Documents : Gather your Class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate, a recent color passport-size photograph (taken with you holding a black slate featuring your name and photo date in white chalk), a parental consent certificate (if under 18), and a self-addressed envelope with a ₹10 stamp.

• Submit the Application : Send the duly filled application form and required documents via normal post or drop box to any one of the designated IAF station locations listed in the notification on or before 17 August 2026. Write on the envelope containing the application form

Selection Process

• Phase I (Written Test) : Candidates whose applications are accepted appear for a common written test comprising General English (Class 10th) and General Knowledge (Class 10th) for a total of 30 marks, requiring a minimum of 5 marks in each subject and 15 marks in aggregate to qualify.

• Phase II (Physical Fitness Test - PFT) : Candidates who pass the written test undergo a height check (minimum 152 cm), followed by PFT-I (a 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes, with altitude modifications if applicable) and PFT-II (10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within stipulated timeframes).

• Phase III (Stream Suitability Test - SST) : Qualified candidates are tested for their practical aptitude, skills, and willingness to perform specific tasks associated with their opted stream (either Hospitality or Housekeeping).

• Phase IV (Medical Examination) : Shortlisted candidates based on merit in the SST undergo a thorough medical examination by an Air Force Medical team, which includes baseline blood tests, urine tests, biochemistry, chest radiograph, ECG, and other required checks.
