• Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology along with English from a recognized board. Students appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, subject to meeting the required conditions.

• Candidates must have passed or be appearing in B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry). For the Doctorate programme, applicants must have completed M.V.Sc. in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2 or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology / Mathematics and English from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to the General / OBC category must have at least 60% marks, while SC / ST candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

For the Doctorate programme, candidates must have a Master’s degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or related  science field, or M.V.Sc. Applicants from General / OBC must have 60% marks, while SC / ST candidates must have at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

How to Apply

• Access the Admission Section : Look for the "Admission 2026-27" link on the homepage.

• Select Programme Type : Choose the appropriate link for the level of programme you are applying for (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Diploma).

• Register : Click on "Apply Now" or the equivalent registration link. You will need to provide basic details such as your full name, email address, and mobile number for OTP verification.

• Fill the Application Form : Log in with your credentials and complete the application form with your personal, academic, and contact details.

  • Note : Ensure you select the correct subject/course, as you will not be allowed to change this choice after submission.

• Upload Documents : Upload the required documents, such as a scanned passport-sized photograph and your signature, as per the specified format.

• Pay Application Fee : Pay the non-refundable application processing fee (fixed at ₹2,000 for the 2026-27 session) using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

• Submit and Print : Submit the final application form and ensure you download and print a copy of the confirmation page for your future records.

Selection Process

• Entrance Examination : Candidates must appear for the specific entrance test corresponding to their chosen programme :

  • Undergraduate Programmes : Must appear for the UGEE-2026 (Undergraduate Entrance Examination).

  • Postgraduate Programmes : Must appear for the PGEE-2026 (Postgraduate Entrance Examination).

  • Diploma Programmes : Must appear for the DEE-2026 (Diploma Entrance Examination).

• Merit List : The university generates a merit list based on the scores obtained in the respective entrance examinations.

  • Tie-breaking : In cases of equal scores, criteria such as the aggregate percentage in the qualifying (10+2 or degree) examination are used.

• Counselling : Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in the counselling process. This stage involves:

  • Registration : Online registration for counselling.

  • Choice Filling : Selecting preferred courses/colleges.

  • Document Verification : Providing original academic mark sheets, caste certificates (if applicable), domicile proof, and identification.

• Seat Allotment : Final seats are allocated based on merit, reservation rules, and the preferences exercised by the candidate during counselling.
