Visit Official Website : Go to www.nclcil.in and navigate to Career > Recruitment > Employment Notification for Direct Recruitment of various Statutory posts > Apply online. Review Notification : Carefully read the complete Employment Notification to ensure you meet all eligibility criteria before proceeding. Pay Application Fee : Eligible candidates (except SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental) must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1180/- (inclusive of GST) through the online portal. Upload Documents : Upload the required scanned documents, including a passport-sized photograph (not older than 3 weeks), signature, educational certificates, and relevant competency/technical certificates (Mining Sirdarship/Surveyor's Certificate, Gas Testing, First Aid). Submit and Print : Verify that all entered data is correct, submit the online application, and keep a printed copy for your future reference.
Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT) : Eligible candidates will appear for a 100-mark, 90-minute CBT consisting of technical (Section A) and general (Section B) questions. Minimum Qualifying Marks : Candidates must secure the prescribed category-wise cut-off marks in the CBT to be eligible for further consideration. Provisional Merit Panel : A merit list will be published based on CBT scores, with tie-breaking criteria applied if multiple candidates secure equal marks. Scrutiny/Verification of Documents : Candidates who qualify in the merit list must undergo document verification for their original testimonials and eligibility criteria. Medical Examination : Final selection is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit according to Coal India Limited (CIL) rules. Provisional Appointment : Successful candidates who fulfill all eligibility requirements and pass the medical examination will be issued a provisional appointment letter.
