Entrance Exam Pattern

  • Number of Questions : 120
  • Maximum Marks : 480
  • Duration : 120 Minutes (02:00 Hours)
  • Mode of Examination : CBT (Computer Based Test)
  • Type of Questions : Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with Single Correct Response
  • Scoring Scheme : +4 Marks for each correct response, –1 Mark for each incorrect response, 0 Mark for no response / un-attempted questions
  • Medium of Examination :- Ayurveda : Hindi and English, Homoeopathy : English only, Siddha : Tamil and English, Unani : Urdu and English

  • Access Official Website : Visit the official NTA website at https://exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget/ to begin the process.

  • Register Online : Complete the registration process to generate a system-generated Application Number.

  • Fill Application Form : Log in with your generated Application Number and password to fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and choose examination cities.

  • Upload Documents : Upload your live photograph, scanned passport-size photograph, signature, and any required certificates (e.g., PwD/PwBD) in the specified formats and sizes.

  • Pay Examination Fee : Pay the requisite application fee online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

  • Download Confirmation Page : After successful payment, download, save, and print multiple copies of the Confirmation Page for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Online Registration : Candidates must submit an online application form through the official NTA website.

  • Admit Card Issuance : NTA issues provisional admit cards to eligible candidates for the Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Entrance Examination : Candidates appear for the CBT, which consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

  • Answer Key Display : NTA releases provisional answer keys online and invites challenges from candidates.

  • Result Declaration : NTA declares the final results based on the final answer keys and the established marking scheme.

  • Counselling and Admission : The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) or respective State/UT counselling authorities conduct counselling based on merit, seat availability, and eligibility.
