Post Wise Qualification
HC (Ministerial) : 12th Passed, Typing (English : 35 WPM OR Hindi : 30 WPM). ASI (Stenographer) : 12th Class Passed, Stenography (Dictation : 10 Minutes @ 80 WPM, Transcription : 50 Minutes in English / 65 Minutes in Hindi).

Selection Process
Phase 1 : Physical Standards and Efficiency Physical Standard Test (PST) : Assessment of height, chest (for males), and weight based on category and regional criteria. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Qualifying race (1.6 km for males in 6 minutes; 800 meters for females in 4 minutes 45 seconds). Phase 2 : Computer Based Test (CBT) Written Examination : Objective-type test covering Hindi/English, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, Clerical Aptitude, and Basic Computer Knowledge. Phase 3 : Skill Test, Documentation, and Medical Exam Skill Test : Dictation and transcription (for ASI Steno) or typing speed test (for HC Ministerial) conducted on computers. Document Verification (DV) : Thorough checking of educational certificates, caste/category documents, and proof of identity. Medical Examination : Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) to ensure candidates meet the required health standards.
