How to Apply
Visit the Portal : Go to the EIL recruitment website at http://recruitment.eil.co.in/. Select Section : Navigate to the "Recruitment of Management Trainees" section. Choose Post : Select your preferred post: either "MT-Construction" or "MT-Other than Construction". You may only apply for one of these positions. Initial Registration : Click on "New Registration Details" and fill in the required information, including your correct GATE-2026 registration number. Save Registration Number : Once submitted, a unique Registration Number will be generated. Note this down for all future correspondence. Final Submission : Complete the online form with all relevant details and perform the final submission.
Selection Process
GATE-2026 Participation : Candidates must appear for and clear the GATE-2026 examination in the relevant engineering discipline. Online Application : Eligible candidates must apply through the EIL website using their GATE-2026 registration number. Shortlisting : Candidates are shortlisted for the next stages based on their GATE-2026 scores. Group Discussion : Shortlisted candidates must participate in a Group Discussion held at Delhi or Gurugram. Personal Interview : Candidates will further appear for a Personal Interview to assess their suitability for the role. Final Selection : The final selection is based on performance in the selection process and is subject to meeting the 65% marks requirement in their qualifying degree. Training and Probation : Selected candidates undergo one year of training, followed by one year of probation upon successful absorption.
