According to her, a woman would find your sense of humour attractive, especially “if you can laugh at yourself”.

“But be careful not to make yourself the punchline. Instead, make the situation you are in the punchline. That’s the difference between good self-deprecating humour and something cringey,” she said.

In simple words, laugh at the mess you got into, not at yourself for existing. One makes you seem easy-going; the other makes people uncomfortable on your behalf.

Ambition

Now, the third trait: ambition. This has nothing to do with a job title or a pay cheque. Women like ambitious men, but most men get it wrong.
